Hey guys,
I have a '41 3/4 ton. I initially planned on putting my '69 Olds 442 rearend under it and making a parallel 4 bar suspension. I was wondering, since the '69 rear is a triagulated 4 bar suspension, could I just use the stock mounts from that rearend and build bars to attach to the frame? Anyone see a reason why this wouldn't work? TIA!

You'll find that the angles will be incorrect to make it work properly. The stock spring mounts also do not make for good control arm mounting points, saw someone try that on a mid-'50s Olds. He almost lost the rearend from under the car when the mount broke free from the frame. The factory spring hangars are not designed to handle the side loads that a trailing arm suspension create.
