Hi everyone, I have a 41 Burb that I am in the middle of restoring. I just finished the metal work on the body and it is currently ready for media blasting. I am missing the upper clam-shell hinges and was wondering if anyone knows if they are the same as the AD Burb hinges?? If not, does anyone know where there's a basket case 41-46 or does anyone have one that I could reproduce (cast/machine)?? The hinges are the only thing I need to complete the body.
Thanks!!
Johnny

Johnny,

Welcome to Stovebolt.com

The hinges are different.

Your best bet is to post a Parts Wanted ad in the Swap Meet.

Good luck, and please keep us informed on your progress.

If/when you have general questions/information that would pertain to any 41 truck, post in a general-topic forum. Panel-body specific posts (like the one that you posted in this thread) belong here.

Thanks Tim!!

Will do. I will post an add in the swap-meet section. Because these hinges seem near impossible to acquire, I wanted to offer to cast and machine a few...if there's any interest.
