It is a 54 Chevy 6400 with an Ashton wrecker bed. I still have a few things to do like paint the engine, frame, and axles. I plan on doing most of the work but I may have the motor built. If I do then I will have someone do it. I love the site and I need to post some of my other trucks. I bought this truck from a man that bought a collection of old trucks from a man that restored them and due to health issues could not keep them going anymore so he sold them. I bought this from the man that bought the collection. He only wanted the 31 Ford AA tanker out of the coleection of 3 trucks. I honestly do not know nothing about the restoration of the truck.
