After doing a complete search of which I found many articles on the subject I couldn't find anything on installing the belts in the Art Deco style cab. I installed bucket seats in my 46 but installing the upper part of the belt on the door frame doesn't put the belt back far enough. I've even considered welding a mount on the upper back wall similar to a 4 point system. And yes the gastank has been relocated under the rear bed. Has anyone installed the 3 point belts in the Art Deco style cab. Suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks. Bobt

Bobt, I haven't seen any 3point seat belts in an Atr deco truck. I have lap belts in mine, but you might be able to weld in some sort of bracket as suggested. The back wall isn't very thick so some reinforcement will be necessary.

Another option if to find some bucket seats with the 3 point seat belt built in. I think a few buicks had them. I'm not sure about the width of these seats though.

Let us know how it comes out. What ever you do.

I welded a piece of square tubing to the back belt line in mine and then welded a seat belt anchoring plate to that. Might be just a bit low but seems to be OK.

Thanks very much fellas, I think I'm going to have to weld in a bracket on the back cab wall and bolt the belt to it, seems to be the only way out,The seats are out of a mid size Oldsmobile and fit preety good.thanks again.
