They fit with minor modifications. There is info on the tech section or you can do a search. Much info has been posted on this websight. The 87 back has mech. speedo drive & are the best to use unless you have custom gauges with electronic speedo. Some say they are too light duty for a v-8 but i ran one for a while behind a 350 & am doing another one now. I feel if you don,t torture it, it will last.

But here goes. Cut off part of the front bearing retainer to match the old trans. Cut off part of the end of the front drive gear where it goes in the pilot brg. to match the original trans. Use a die grinder & lenghten the splines the clutgh disc rides on a little. Drill the mounting holes out to 1/2 in. After installing the trans. measure the drive shaft & have it modified to the correct length.
