I have brown seat belts in my 88 s10 truck.One doesn't work well but I have another truck that has blue ones, Can I dye them black?

I have read where you should do nothing to a seatbelt that contains any sort of chemicals. the onlye "safe" thing is to wash them with a mild diluted soap and water.

this stuff might work, found at some auto parts places - they have an 800 number for questions .... there's 2 considerations > being nylon or similar material the belts won't likely hold normal fabric dyes, so you'd wind up with black on yer nice white tennis shorts the 2nd is, if they're badly sun faded, replace them with new instead, they've been weakened by UV
