Hey Bolters,

I am getting ready to upgrade the suspension in the rear of my truck because the current springs show a lot of wear. I believe that the previous owner may have heated the leafs to drop the truck so I'm anxious to replace them.

My question is kinda dumb, but what is the stock height of my 53 3100? And from what points do I measure that? I'm considering buying leafs that will drop the truck 2" in the back, but I'd like to know how far off from stock height my truck is currently to help me decide.

Thanks for the help Bolters.

Also, I have a 12 bolt rear end I'm going to throw under my truck, I've found a few weld in conversion kits to use that rear end with a stock suspension set up, but do any of you have advice or opinions on that?
