Any suggestions?.... Thanks | | | | | Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 38 |
The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Find the local jeep place that does jeep lift kits. Bet you can pick some up cheap. I remember vaguely the poster said they were 10 bucks. | | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2010 Posts: 10 | So is a 63-67 rear spring the same as a 62? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 | I purchased my springs from CPP. Don't buy them from LMC... they buy them from CPP and mark them up a $70 bucks a pair! Learn from my mistake.... https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthread...;Words=emptor&Search=true#Post495875The "Jeep" springs sound scary. Never heard of a half ton hauling capacity Jeep Wrangler. When it comes to suspension components, steering and brakes its best to belly up to the bar and buy components made for the specific vehicle, IMHO.

Something you might think about. You could cut half a coil on your stocks spring and get 2 inch lowering blocks. That would get you 3 inches of drop and cost about $70 bucks.
How do I know so much about these trucks? I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
