Re: topic 8 pages back in the "Panels and Burbs" section...
"Pictures of a restored 1951 Chevrolet Suburban".

Remember that suburban someone had a shop build or something, and they had a mint invested in?
It was in the hands of some "classic car dealer" in TX, and on ebay touted as a perfect authentic dream restoration" or something.
Anyway...the only "authentic" thing was that someone did the linoleum inside...did anyone save the pictures (as was dicussed here) before the auction disappeared?

Looking for some of the interior ones.

Thanks!. PM me if you would...?

George's opinion of rear floor mat was that it was not linoleum. I remember that it seemed to be the right floor-mat color for 1951 and it was grooved (a link to one photo I saved is in that thread). Maybe someone else saved more photos (Yakimabowtie or TrknGMC)?

It was hard to tell how much was invested in that Suburban. It was listed for around $60K and the highest bid was $26K.

Yep. Thanks. I'd like to try to get the interior ones from you, if I could.

Thanks.

I just looked and i have a pic from the passenger side door. you can make out a little of the rear floor. the other picture is with both rear doors open looking in. otherwise, I have most of all of the outside. send me you real email and not the stovebolt one. and I will forward you the two pictures.

thanks

Would that be the same burb that is now being offered for $39,500?

Now that is funny. I told that guy when he first had it listed I thought 30k would be the sweet spot for that 'burb.

It's actually a diff Burb, the other seemed to disapper. The one on earlier ebay had barn doors and a diff green. The one on ebay now is touted as restored to all original with only deviation is a diff rear end. I don't know how they overlooked the fact it has a 235 in it? I'd still take it!

Hardly restored to all original; but, it is a very nice Suburban.

Overlooked the 235 in it? That "feature" is mentioned in the listing. The listing does not say the engine is original (stock, etc), and the non-original (non-stock, etc) rear-end is stated.
