None that I am aware of. I have had several complete systems, from exhaust mainfolds, to tailpipe tips done in the past three years and they all ran around $400.00-$450.00, furnished & installed, including down pipes, mufflers, hangers & s.s. tips. Do a little more shopping around and you might save a few bucks, but you also use a lot of fuel and your time, to find the best deal. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.

I bought a system from The Filling Station several years ago. They are in the links.

thanks for the replys.
i did find a local one man 'performance muff shop' - $350 for 2 1/4" dual set up (gasket, donut, hangers provided, no tips provided). i supply the muffs ( he suggested thrush #17713 14" muffs offset/center, so called mini turbos - i think).

i was wondering about the thickness of the pipe used ! seems like the pipe is very thick and heavy. 1/8" .
can some one comment on this !

i did a google 'dual exhaust kit 1966 chevy truck' and found
www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/77A2904A2332133.aspx?kc=ffsku
at the top of the list. $200 shipped.
shows a pic and some info.

the filling station site doesnt give a lot of info on its kit.

the other question is a welded up vrs a clamped system ? any big pros or cons.

Properly welded is superior to clamped...properly being the operative word. I chose to go with a custom-fitted/fabricated system, because you have some input on the bends, routing, hanger locations, exiting, mufflers & tips. $200.00, including shipping is pretty good, but you or someone else has to install it and $100.00-$150.00 is not much to work with, when it comes to your time or someone else's labor.

thanks for the observation 4-5-6
kind of what i was lookin at too.
after purchaseing the mufflers + install = $400
so thats the way i think i am going to go.
got another question -
on the hangers....
what are your thoughts on the rubber ones vrs the non rubber ( where they just weld a hanger rod from the frame to the pipe ?
also have you ever looked at the thickness of the pipe used ?
1/8
1/16 ?

I go with the rubber hangers, pipe clamped to the pipe. This should be a flexible connection and the welded method is rigid and the pipe rusts and is weak at the weld point.

Wall thickness of exhaust pipe is 1/16" roughly. I have never mic'd it or known, for sure, the gauge, but I know it is not 1/8" or .125" wall thickness.

the metal hangers last longer, but the rubber ones provide a little more sway when you rev, shift, let off the clutch to fast, ect. (whatever makes your motor lurch). the best solution i have found (dont know quite how it effects performance) is the metal hangers and use one of those flex pipes (search "exhaust flex pipe" on summit.com and you'll come up with 50 of them) coming strait off the exhaust manifold before your pipes start. that takes the tension off your pipes from motor lurch, and provides long life to the metal hangers. just my opinion though.

so - 4-5-6 you clamp pipe to pipe not weld pipe to pipe ?

i had a custom exhaust put on my 66 lesabre (2006) and the guy welded it all, hangers were a welded rod, frame to pipe.
before i gave it much thought.
but now i think i will insist on old fashion rubber hangers.

got a automatic, 283 2 bbl.
but i know that truck was driving on fractured-rubber motor mounts for a long time- put some stress on the system like you suggest i am sure.
these trucks had a recall i think - where a motor to frame cable bracket was installed to help keep the motor from walking off...... i just cleaned mine up and reinstalled.
