1) Are the stock painted hubcaps for '57-'60 Chevy trucks the same size for both 6 lug 15" and 16" wheels.
2) Also, I've seen 6 lug 15" wheels with 3 tabs and some with with 6 tabs to hold the cap. Why the difference.

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | I believe the caps for 15's and 16's interchange, the wheel centers are the same [but don't hold it to me] - the 6 clip wheels are pre-55, the 3 clip are 55-60 [but there are 6 clip-mount holes] - wheels beyond 60 still had the 6 holes to mount the clips but no clips
