I took my pedal set up apart to clean up the 70 years of grease and grime that was on it. unfortunately for me i didnt take pictures of it before hand. i know how the clutch pedal goes back on. I am at a loss on how the brake pedal goes back together.

I am not the only one to have taken apart their pedals to clean and paint am I?

Can anyone tell me what holds the brake pedal in? The clutch i see just slides on and then a clip holds it in. Im confused on the brake pedal.

hey all.... i am close to setting my pedals back up and I'm in a jam. i dont recall what held the brake pedal in. was it a bolt or a sleeve? I dont remember. can anyone look at theirs and let me know? Maybe send me a pic?

Thanks Chris... nothing in there that helps i have the 39 manual and there was nothing there either... I took alot of pictures but didnt take any of that lol.... hopefully someone who has a 39 or 40 can help
