I'm going to install my unison seat in my truck ,I'm confused on how the top mounts go . One mount is taller than the other . Does anyone know what side the taller one goes on ? link to the mounts I'm talking about

I'm not sure what you are talking about. There are two brackets that hang on the back of the cab in existing holes where the seat back hangs from. The L shaped brackets I recall mount the pass side seat bottom. The driver's side mounts by itself and the side cover screws to the existing seat skirt. Here are some pics on a few sets, some documents from the assembly manual, and actually, some pictures of an installation done by M. Barnes.

What year and size truck are you mounting this in?

Greg has all the parts for a Unison (Ride-Control) seat and I have all the parts for an assembly in a standard cab. Did your parts come out of a standard cab or a COE cab?

its going in my 54 3100 , im not sure if it came out of a standard cab or a COE . do you have the handle cover ?

I do not know what the handle cover is.

Do you have the parts for the floor base?

Do you have the passengers' seat-back mounting brackets that attach to existing holes in the rear side of the cab?

Can you post a few more photos of the parts that you have?

Where would the handle cover be located? Would that be the handle on the side of the base platform, shown in #22 (and in #9) or the sheet-metal "cover panel" that attaches to the cab seat-platform/base (3700940 in #9)?

i have all the seat parts. how do the brackets mount that attach to existing holes in the rear side of the cab? I always thought it was a handle cover but it goes under the handle ,pic

I guess I need to look at my set. I thought they were both closer to the same size. They hook on the back of the cab and the pass side seat back has "hooks" that just clip into them.

I'll check mine tomorrow but I am almost certain my brackets are the same size.

My brackets are packed away but if indeed they are different depths, it would make sense to me that taking into consideration the curvature of the back of the cab, the one that mounts closer to the center of the cab would be the one that stands taller. But that is only my own reasoning. Bottom line is that the pass side seat back should sit straight across if that makes any sense.

My brackets are different sizes - they look just like the ones in big_dan_1950's posting. My brackets are not now in place but Greg's advice makes good sense (and must be what I did when I "dry-fitted" the seats): "Bottom line is that the pass side seat back should sit straight across if that makes any sense".
