Just arrived home and setting up to do some fitting tomorrow but I have been looking around to see where my running boards need to attach to and cannot figure it out. Am I just too tired and missing something obvious?

I know they attach to the the front and rear fenders but what about the small holes on the top lip along the length of the running boards?

Thanks in advance! Will continue looking for info/pics while I wait for a reply.

Those small holes are just for the suburbans and panels. They only attach to the fenders and to the frame brackets.

Ahh, perfect. Was getting a little worried that I was missing some parts.
Thank you for your help!

So just to be clear, the 2-3 holes punched in the top portion of the running boards that reach up to the top of the frame, and are a perfect alignment (front to back) with the holes in the frame itself, don't actually do anything? The running board holes lay maybe 3-4 inches outboard of the frame holes. Just doesn't seem right that they wouldn't be used but there is no way I can stretch them up there to make them fit. I'll try to post pics later for clarification.

Note that there is no room to push the boards farther inboard to match the frame holes without hitting the end of the spring to frame mounts.

If you have a pickup there should be holes on the top edge to bolt the bed to runningboard skirt piece. It covers the exposed part of the frame between the rear fender and cab.
