| | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 17 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 17 | I bought a 2X1 and started soda blasting the paint off of it and got to thinking, did Edelbrock ever sale a 2 into 1 set that was painted black or have they always been as cast aluminum? thinking a fresh coat of black with the fins and logo raw/not painted would look good.
edit: mine was black (factory?) and the paint is on there good

One for the the 216 (2 11/16 carb bolt spacing)and one for the 235/261(2 15/16 carb bolt spacing). I have one of each. My 216 intake is painted black and the 235/261 is bare aluminum. The 216 version seems more difficult to find. I have an old Edelbrock ad advertising both. $47.50 back in the day!! Incase you are curious...the catalog is #1015 for the 216 and #1020 for the 235.
