I am restoring a 1951 3100 pickup and need to find a vent for the rear axle, any ideas where to find? I have looked at Jim carter, LMC and chevys of the 40's. Thanks Lou.

Maybe this is what you need ; however, it's not like the ones on my 1/2 ton trucks' torque-tube rear ends.

I used this one and it worked great. It's from Dunchuk Manufacturing.

The ones from Ecklers & Danchuck look more like the original one than the one in my link to Classic Parts.

$25,95 + shipping--------WOW!!!!! It’s just an inch of tubing with a spring and cap crudely crimped on it. That's ridicules is about all I have to say on that one.
