One more question if you please gentlemen...

From the mid 50's through the mid 70's we owned an Air Force Tanker that we used at harvest for a fuel truck. My Dad bought it from the military at a silent surplus auction for $500.

The other day I found the mate to it (if not the truck itself). I do not know if it is even for sale but I need a good link to past sale prices for military vehicles. I have looked at a few but never got much out of them.

Any one with ideas of a good site to research prices?

If you are talking about the GMC M135/211 series with the 4speed hydramatic, check Steelsoldiers.com They have a forum called the early deuce that covers this truck. Generally speaking $1500 for one that runs, less for a wreck, and if pristine, who knows... The Canadian army had lots of these, not so much in the US army. The M35 series won the long term contract.

Many contend the M135 was a better vehicle and way ahead of it's time.
