For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 | Does anyone if there is an adaptor used for mounting the old capillary tube sending unit on my ’41 to the newer 848 head on a 235. Looks like the older sending unit is a 3/8 pipe thread and the newer head is a ½ pipe thread. Except the older unit needs some kind of face to screw down against. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Temperature Sender adapter NAPA supposedly has them as Balkamp part #701-1542 (the picture on their website looks to be incorrect but the dimensions look right) | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 | Thanks a bunch Tim.
