It was just taking more time and eventual money than I could afford at the time with 3 kids and owning a business along with being a high school teacher. So I sold it 2 years ago.
Two weeks ago, the guy I sold it to was moving to Tennessee and could take the truck, so I bought it back (for a fraction of what I sold it for)from him. He was thankful as he didn't have the time or place to keep it. Funny how things come back like that. Fortunetaly,I am in a better position to work on it now, and my son, who is now driving, has an added interest in it! I drove it all through college and, like you, when kids came along, needed to sell it. 450 miles and 10 years from the original purchase, the guy I bought it from contacted me out of the blue and bought it back. We laughed that we'll sell the car to each other every 10 or 20 years.
Enjoy your second chance. You never know if you'll get a third! (I haven't...yet!)
