Can any one tell me what the color of paint the interior should be? The truck is a duluxe model with juniper green paint if that helps

I am restoreing a 1946 Chev big bolt. I have been using Rust Oleum #7272 ( matalic brown ) for the interior pices. This paint is almost a dead ringer and a lot cheaper than buying from the places like Jim Carter or the like.

In 1954, the deluxe interior paint color was/is Pulsar Gray. Pearl Beige was/is the standard interior color in 1954 in standard cab trucks.

Tim, any chance it colud have had the two tone green interior? Are the vent window frames black or chrome?

Yes, you are right to ask, Greg. There were 4 different two-tone interiors by late 1954. I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that Nathan had a single color interior, since he asked about "what the color of paint the interior should be".

Greg's question regarding vent-frame color is because a chrome frame would have come with an RPO 430/431 (Regular Production Option) that included two-tone interior colors (different from the RPO 390) Pulsar Gray interior color. Greg, does your truck have the green/green two-tone interior or the blue/blue?

The 54 that I am restoring will have the beige/maroon two-tone interior.

A variety of two-tone exterior RPOs were also available on standard cabs and panels in 1954.

Mine is blue.

I read his post differently. I saw the deluxe cab and took it as what color or colors would have been correct. Just trying to open the possibilities list.
