After searching all forty pages regarding anything cooling/radiator, I came up with names of a few venders. I found the lowest price aluminum radiator from Champion out of CA. Has anyone used one of thier radiators, and how has it worked for you?

I put a Champion 4-core in T'Mater.
The engine is crap and runs way too hot but the radiator contains it way past the capability of the gauge. The radiator is a bolt in fit too.

....haven't used them. But I have done business with Caparadiator out of N.Y. and was happy with them. I don't know if they have an original bolt in though. I was hunting Aluminum street rod for my 37 and they had the best "at the time".

Have you priced JimCArter with our stovebolt discount?? The one they sell for the AD is really a 4 core Desert Cooler Radiator but not sure about the prices these days. Just giving idea's.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I picked up one from bowtie bits in wichita- less than $300 and looks like the stock unit minus the harrison tags. Delivery was a little long though, but worth it.

Yelostn78 - was the Bowtie Bits radiator analuminum hot rod type, or was it a copper radiator for that price?

My 48 radiator is kapoot. I looked into re-core. That runs around $400. I guess this is a better way to go.

Is Bowtie Bits the most economical?

Check out the thread in "Hypo" forum for copper vs aluminum. Performance cooling has a good price on the radiator and shipping. Or just go to Ebay.
