Good Morning: so far, I have every single question answered on this forum and the guys here REALLY know what they are talking about and have the answers. So here is the next question on my four year project, so I can start looking for the exact solution at this years swap meets. On my project, I have 6 bolt chevy hubs from a 1950 Chevy rolling chassis... I have a set of turbine rims that are simply gorgeous, but, the tires needed for these will make the whole thing look, well... wrong... I need to find a very narrow six bolt rim and please so I can use very narrow tires, no spacer conversions... that I can eliminate right now too.... I need the narrowest six bolt rim I can find and may wind up spending and buying new... but other ideas are welcome, especially, the kind that don't cost an arm and a leg. Usually, someone has been there and done that and found alternatives that are not costly.... THAT is what I am looking for.... ideas? Help? Suggestions? and thanks!!!!

Dennis,

Post an ad in the Swap Meet for used 47-55 6.00x16" rims in good shape. That would be a good start and should get you a few replies. Ask about rust, especially near the valve stem.

Here are two for sale on E-BAY and two more in the next posting by the same seller that are up for auction in 5 days. The description says they are 4 X 16 inches, but I think the standard width is actually 4.5 inches. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/47-4...ck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4aa01a5b10
