Hi, I feel bad asking this here considering the year of what I am working on. I am working on a 1984 GMC 7000 . I am replacing the blown DD with a 3208 Cat. This truck has the steel hood. Does anyone know if a tilt front from the same era Top Kick will work, if I use the fender extensions and rad suport from the Top Kick. It appears the cabs are the same. Or does the cab sit forward more there making a differnence in the length of the hood? Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Jim

If, i'm not mistaken, the cab does sit more forward, & also higher,on a Top Kick, than a regular conventional.
