I'm confused about which clutch I need for a 1946 3/4 ton, 235 6-cyl, w/ original flywheel, 11-inch pressure plate, throwout bearing & Buffalo Enterprise adaptor plate for a T-5. Don't know if an Astro van will work or do I have to have one special made. I want to keep the foot starter (6 volt). I've read all the articles & now I'm confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

An Astro van clutch is the one. Most part numbers will be #4212 for the 11". There may be a prefix in front of that. If you are having trouble finding one, Standard Transmission in Fort Worth, TX has them or can get them in a few days.

I have 55 235 with original throw out bearing and pressure plate attached to a 92 t-5 and I used a 83-84 firebird clutch . It was the cheapest I could find and larger than some . I think it was 9 11/16 " and it was under 30 bucks at auto zone . I have been driving it almost every day for about 3 months, Its working great!

Thanks for the help. I could not find just the clutch disk at Napa, etc. but did find just the disk at AutoZone, Part# CP31078 for about $42.

Thanks again. Appreciate all the help.
