| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 388 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 388 | I have a '48 chevy and I installed a 10 bolt rearend with new leaf springs and u-bolts along with a bottom shock convertion kit and top mount for the frame bought from CCP. Does any body have any pics of your conversion and how you mounted the shocks to the top of the frame. What kind of bracket did you use? Thanx for your help! mike | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | You can use the top mounts from a 50's truck like mine it's a 52 you'll have to drill 4 holes 3/8s and mount them at 45 degrees from the bottom mount post toward the front of the truck just to be sure I'll check the degree again and post it
