i have recently finished rebuilding my 350, and i am in the process of trying to get it to run. I put the drill on the oil primer and watched the rocker arms. The driver side worked really well, oil all over the place. However the passenger side had no oil coming out of the rocker arms (pushrods). Help! Help! Help!

Are you using an old distributer for priming or just a screwdriver, the dist body plugs an oil passage, also sometimes engine needs to be rotated to line up oil passages on the crankshaft to oil other parts of the engine, or those rockers might be loose,,if it were me I would crank it up & watch for flow,,,brian

I ran into the same problem. Tried priming engine and only flowed on one side. Started engine and still flowed oil on one side. Finally figured out I needed an old distributor housing to seal holes inside and it primed and worked great.

what kind of distributor housing should i look for. My engine is an '89 TBI

I would look for an old distributor thats the same type as you have in your engine now. You will have to be sure and remove the cam gear on the shaft so it wont engage with the cam.
