It kind of seems like a dumb question but where do those foam spacers go behind the door panel. I got the spacers from Jim Carter.

What would be the part number?

1954 truck?

There are round "spacers" that go around the widow-opener post and the door-opener post; and small rectangular "spacers" that go behind the door-latch control rod.

The part # is UP123.

I'd have to see the 12 parts. How many of the small rectangular pieces do you have.

I'll check the Factory Assembly Manual but I think the go on the door, behind the door-latch control know (to keep it from rattling).

The round ones, go on the posts to the door handle and the window-winder handle. Put the round pieces on the posts before putting on the cardboard panel. How many of each round piece were in the kit?

There are 4 foam rectangles and 4 round foam disks and 5 cardboard disks the same size as the foam disks.

This is from memory only and an old memory at that but I believe that the foam rounds are for behind the door panel at the door latch and window crank with the thin cardboard versions being for in front of the door panel underneath both latch and window crank to serve as washers, and the final 4 rectangles, I believe go behind the door latch cross bar to keep it from rattling against the door metal.
