There are several you can use. You can use the search feature at the top of the page. Just enter somthing like " rearend swap " or just ,rearend. That should get you quite abit of stuff to look at.
Welcome to the Bolt, bud!

I have a 53 3100 also, I used an 85 camaro drum brake rearend, its 62 inches and you can get the spring sadles from buffalo enterprises for like $135, the tube is 2 5/8 and he also gives you the ubolts for a perfect fit. The rears are pretty plentiful and come in 3:23 and 3:42 ratios which are decent for highway driving, lokar sells an e brake cable kit so you can hook up the e brake,, hope this helps

Well, replacing the torgue tube rearend with an open driveshaft design means you will be also considering what to do about your current closed driveshaft transmission. My advise, job #1: Define exactly how you plan to drive and use the truck. Are you hauling, towing, expressway driving or what? DO you want a manual shift or an automatic, on the column or on the floor. All of this is for determining what the best transmission, if Overdrive is required and what ratio the rearend should be to meet your goal.

Good luck

I was planning on going with a Saginaw 4 speed, I'll look for a Camaro rear end.

This brings up a point that I omitted. "Floor Shifter Location". Please respond with what seats are currently in your truck and/or your seating plans. Buckets may be in your future. I'm hoping others will chime in from here and guide you to the best path.

you can typically get a ford 9' rear end pretty cheap. 3.73 gears, Limited slip differential, disk brakes. and ford threw it under nearly every solid axle vehicle for a long time. low milage units typically only go for about $200
