Hey All,

I just found this forum searching up some old Chev trucks and I decided to join!

My dad has a newer chevy, its a 1997 Z71 Silverado with the 5.7L vortec. It only has 115,000km and has been oiled twice every year since brand new.

I'm only 15, but i'm looking for an old 60's or ealy 70's chevy pickup for a project.

I'm also a member of the Antique & Classic Snowmobile Club of Canada and collect old antique snowmobiles as a hobby. You can find me on youtube under username lawnboy7260G. I also collect lawnboy mowers too.

82Z71, welcome to the bolt. Sounds like your an industrious young man. Keep and eye out in the trucks for sale forum and your local paper. I'm sure "your" truck is out there somewhere.
There are also young guys on here I'm sure you'll get to know and there's plenty of info and good folks around.... and bolters from your areas. Keep watch. You will see them....if they don't see you first.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Hey Kyle, welcome. I'm from central Ontario too, near Lindsay. Not sure where you are but there is an automotive flea market coming up soon in Stirling, then a bigger one in Barrie in early June. There's always stuff for sale there. I know of a early 50s panel truck for sale near Rosedale, but I think you want something newer. Good luck in your search.

Lindsay eh? I'm from Innisfil, approximately an hour from Lindsay. Oh yeah, Burl's Creek is coming up too, I'll make sure to go to that!

Welcome Kyle I'm from s/w Ont. Keep an eye out for farm auctions in your area there is often an old truck or two in them and spring is auction season. Murray

First time I saw this truck I said "That's the one!"
