I am currently going through the brakes on my 1950 3100 short bed.

I have a few issues with the parking brake setup. I believe that I have the Huck style setup and am probably missing some parts. I have no levers or pivots to attach my parking brake cables to inside the rear drum. I do have a small clevis that was on the end of each of the old brake cables.

I have searched the catalogs, internet, and repair manuals for photos of this setup and have come up with nothing at all. If any of you guys have an hints, info, or pictures it would be greatly appreciated.

If they are huck brakes ask Denny He has done work on these and has good pic's too.

I may have some of the half-ton Huck brakes but they would be on another computer in another town so I wouldn’t be able to get to them for a few days.

Hey Peter, give me a call this morning, I've got some measurments for your bumper.

Denny those pics are a huge help. I appreciate you posting them for me. I definitely have the Huck style brakes. It seems as if I am missing the pull rod and equalizer bar that attach to the parking brake cable. The shoes on my 1/2 ton also don't attach to the center axle housing like they do in the pictures of the 3/4 ton. It would be much appreciated if you could post the pictures of the 1/2 ton Huck style pictures.

Denny, after looking through your photo album I found a few pics of 1/2 ton rear brakes. They helped a lot. Thanks again. Since I am missing this linkage on my truck I will either have to buy or make them.
