Putting together from boxes of parts. i have the assembly manual and all the pictures show the regulator on firewall. But all the wiring I have seem to lead me to the regulator on the passenger side fender well. is the GMC different from the Chevy's in tne manual? I do not have any of the sheet metal on the truck except the cab. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 4 | Our 57 Jimmy 100 has the regulator on the passenger inner fender, not on the firewall. The truck has not been modified. All the trucks have 6 cylinder engines. I have no idea why there are differences. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 643 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 643 | I have a 58gmc model 100 stepside, 6cyl; with regulator on passenger side inner fender.original wiring goes to it. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 83 | I got a 57 GMC 100 panel; the regulator is on the pass side inner fender.
