I need the top of the air cleaner for my 56 GMC which has a 317 pontiac. I think the air cleaner contained steel wool and a bit of oil and the cover / top was used to hold the steel wool like material in place. Junk yards seldom have parts of that detail and that era. Any ideas? thanks tom

post a picture of what you have. I have a salvage yard near me that has a couple pickup beds full of old oil bath cleaners. PM me if you want their number.
