I have a 53 hood that I am planning on using on my 48. It originally had the 3100 badge but I have seen that the 48s had the chevrolet with liftmaster written on the badge.
Will the 48 badge go on my 53 hood?

The holes for the 48 and 53 hood side-emblems are the same.
From sometime in 1949 through 1952, there were two emblems on each side of the hoods (and extra holes for the extra emblems).
