Hi guys any idea why when I go to the gas station and intent to add some gas to the tank, it spray out a lot and just let me put a little.I have to expend a while to put some gas. it is all original.
My truck is 1952, chevy truck 3600,

The gas tank is building up back pressure because there isn't a way for the tank to vent off. It could be the narrow relief line on the filler neck is plugged or it could be something as simple as you holding the fuel nozzle too tight into the fill neck of your truck. Fuel back pressure increases with high air temperature too. I assume it's reasonably warm in Costa Rica.

Look inside the neck to see if there is an anti-sifon spring in it.
