I've seen pictures on different forums and most I seen did not have the sway bar. So my question is, Do I really need it, there is one on there now, but doing my radiator support it is getting in the way. Do I work around it or do I remove it. my truck is going to be a driver and a hauler when I need it to be. I seem to recall that you lowered it by cranking the torsion bars down, you may want to consider working around the bar, as you have lowered the spring rate, which will aggrivate the body roll situation. Or, alternitevaly, you might look into re-clocking the bars to get the ride hight but maintain the proper (or maybe a bit stiffer) spring rate, especially if you plan to haul anything in it.

It's just a matter of finding one the right shape and then making the mounts to suit. As long as it is attached to each side and fixed to the chassis, it will work. There is not much rocket science to fitting your own if the original will not fit. You are better off running one if the front end you have fitted was originally designed to run one. | | |
