But still it is leakin. ANy ideas on wat i need to do to fix it. I have no idea? Pictures would help. it is a 64 chevy 1/2 tons. I feel dumb askin this but i am learning as i go on. it is shootin oil onto my tailgate. Please help!!

There should be no up & down play in the yoke. If thats ok pull the yoke & see if the srface the seal rides on is smooth. If not a Speede-sleeve is available to go over it. Pull the seal out. You may have damaged it putting it in or let the spring inside fall out. Install a new sealmakeing shure it is the right size. Put a little RTV on the splines of the yoke & the back of the nut. The nut is self locking. If it doesn,t go on tight get a new one. Don,t over tighten it. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
