People there are paying top dollar for these right now. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 5,152 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 5,152 | Proper description and photos would help. Calls it a 1-ton but the photos I see look like a 1/2-ton. Nothing of the interior or engine or underneath.
My bet is they aren't real serious about selling.
And the South American bit needs some explanation.

It is a very nice vehicle from 20'-30'. Here is a discussion about this vehicle. (links to many photos are given in that discussion). As I recall, it was built in Tarrytown, NY and shipped to S.A. Much later, it was shipped back to the U.S.A. (through Florida) to the present owner (who is in Canada). | | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 | The first time I saw this one advertised it was for $14,000, It sold and went to Canada. it was advertised several times for $18,000 and the last time for $14,000. It is unique, but unfortunately the repairs were amateur at best.
I have a feeling this was first sold, sight unseen! The guy that owns it now seems to be very sincere and will send you many pictures of it. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 467 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 467 | Interesting..where did you see it first for sale?

I might buzz up there when the weather warms up and have a look for curiosity's sake - it is not much more than a half hour away. He has a 57 burb too for sale. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | If I lived closer to it, I'd go see it. If you go, please send us a report (and a better/clearer set of photos).
