The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Panels 'N Burbs Burb Weather stripping

First Merry Christmas to all Stovebolters! Trying to get back to working on my 49 Suburban after a few months absence and have a question. The burb had no door weatherstripping when I bought it and no visible signs that any had been removed.I ordered a kit and installed along with new door strikers. Now doorseals wont compress enough to align with body. Questions:
1)I assume they are supposed to have seals like all AD trucks.
2)Can someone shoot a picture of how seal is supposed to be glued in. (I researched here and pictures aren't conclusive.
3)I have door strikers as far back in door as possible as they had a tab bent at a 90 over the door frame. Could this be an issue of poor repopo parts?
4)Will seals compress over time and alignment be better?

Thanks tClederman. I was looking in the assembly manual last night and found the best picture of weatherstripping on Sect 1 sheet 17 for anyone else needing the correct fitment.
