If I recall correctly, I was told by a sales associate from Egge, that there were 4 different Cams for the 54/55 235 engine. Can someone shine some light on this?

I'm only aware of 3 for the years in question:
1. Solid lifter camshaft
2. Hydraulic lifter camshaft used in PG cars
3. Corvette camshaft, which was the same cam as in the 261's

1954 was a change over year, early engines had a small journal steel cam, mid year changed to large journal cast cam.
