Gas mileage increased by a noticeable amount. Performance gains were great!! Stomping on the pedal actually set me back in my seat!! It was definately worth it!! The looks i get are great because people are surprised to hear me jumping off the line!!

It looks like you have some sort of support mechanism on the intake. I'm about to slap the same kind of set up on my 261 and I was wondering whether it would need something to support up the Clifford intake and Edelbrock 500 CFM carb.

I didnt use a support for it. They both fit perfect in the stock position

Possibly too nice!!! Great job!!! Questions: What do you think of the 'x-pipe'? Did you run the truck w/o it first? Do you have a picture or can you take one of the 'x-pipe' location?
Criticism... get a pipe bender and redo that fuel line, the engine compartment is so clean, it's the only flaw and draws your eye right to it. Seriously, that truck is one of the nicest I've seen on the years I have been on this board!! Congratulations on a job well done!

yeah i can get pics of the xpipe, i get the truck out of storage next week. I did not try the truck without the x-pipe though. thanks for the great comments!! yeah that fuel line was just a quick bend to get it running. i put a new one on it already, when i took the picture it was before i replaced it.
