Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me if the original door panels for the 47-55 chevy trucks could have been made of wood paneling? Like the paneling you put on the walls of a house, just not as thick. I have the chance to buy a pair, but I only want orginial stuff in my truck, so if someone can tell me they could be orginial I will buy them. They fit perfectly into the original metal doot trim I have in my 1st 55 chevy truck.

Thanks

the original door panels were not wood but almost like cardboard.

Chuck, several places carry them. TruckandCarShop.com, located in Orange,Ca. sells them for $12.00 a pair. Haven't bought from them yet, but as my list of items grow, I will be making a trip to purchase some items. Good Luck!
