What will work in its place??? It was a three speed column shift but I would replace it with whatever will work. What tranny can I put in this truck where I will not have to do any major modifications?? I don't want to mess with the clutch, bell housing, or drive shaft. Is stock replacement my only option or is ther an automatic that will fit?? SOMEBODY HELP!!!!! thanks | | |

The s-10 5-speed is the best swap. There is a whole lot of info on it in this websight. It fits the same bellhousing. An auto. would be the most modifications.

He might be able to help you out with your dilemma. Good luck. - Will
