I have a 38 GMC and intend to run the original axle and spindles.

the problem I have is that I need new king pins and brake drums as they are worn and I don't think the drums can be turned.

Anybody know which years will match up.

Drums are 6 lug.

Can't find any king pins that will work. I can machine them myself so not to worried about that. Mostly the drums, 11"

any Ideas?

I have a Chevs of the 40s catalog that is a couple of years old. They list drums for the 1/2 Ton, from 1936 to 1950. Is the GMC different?
