Here we go. I spent about 20 hrs and came up with a suitable way to flip a late-model passenger seat so a person can get in the back seat. It was accomplished with stuff I had laying around the shop.You will need a welder and lots of grinding.
If anyone has done it please let's compare notes.

Before I decided to stick with the stock seats, I was wondering if an old VW Bug track would work as well with some modifcations. Remember them? They also flipped forward as well and were fairly narrow tracks.

I thought of the jeep and tahoe thing but not the Bug, I wanted to set everything set up lower and lock down to keep momma from flying.Finished height is only 3".
My time, VS the $$,VS the challenge,was the driving force.
That was the head scratcher...... (extra strenght)
I'll take it all back apart now and paint it.

I used front bucket seats out of a late '80's or early '90's Bronco II. I wanted them low back so to blend in when looking in.I'll post more pictures this weekend. I have revamped the steering colunm and shifter.
