we have a 1954 inline 6 from a chevy winch truck. the serial number is 3733949. any insight or websights would be awesome. thanks

if that's the raised number from the side of the block, it shows up on the chart i have as a '53-'55 235

If you post the engine serial number, and/or the block and head casting numbers, you'll learn more about about the dates/origins of the head/block.

The locations on this page are good for codes on a 53-55 block/head.
