Looks complete and original. Tranny needs replacing. What are the problem areas for this series and are replacement parts mostly available or pretty hard to find? Love the look of the K20 and haven't seen many around the midwest, maybe they were all sold to the forest service out west.

Sounds like engine isnt original it should have a 327 or 292. Yes the 3/4 tons are rare. It sat for 10 years, rust in the usual spots, 283 v8 (which I believe was an option in '66), 3 on the tree, bed wood completely gone. Very original even down to the bench seat and shocks! I paid $1000 for it...after I got it running. I looked for around 2 years for a 60's 4wd pickup, and I only found 2 in decent condition..one of which I bought! I too fell in love with the '60s 4wd look!

Came with a cabover camper and 2000 in rims and tires plus over 800 in parts. I gave 5000 for the whole package. May be a little high But I drove it 1680 miles home with no trouble. And did not have to do a thing to it. Is the one your looking at got a k vin number. Alot of people put 60's trucks on late 70s and early 80s frames. But if you like the looks go for it. No matter what its got in it you will turn heads.
