Was the inside of the outer fenders painted body color or black? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | all the originals I've seen were flat black [primer] underneath with body color overspray around the edges, same with the hood - it may have varied at different plants, but the fenders [primed] would have gone down a conveyer getting sprayed body color one side, waste of time and paint to turn them around and pretty up the side never seen

If there was anything else it was long gone.
