Hi Everyone -

I purchased a 72 GMC C2500 Super Custom last year and decided to change out the transmission oil and filter in the TH400. According to the original owner's manual, after changing the oil, fill it back up with 7.5 pints of fluid. That's only about 3 3/4 quarts of oil, which doesn't seem like it's enough. It doesn't even register on the dipstick nor will the tranny shift. Does anyone know how much oil should be added without overfilling it?

Thanks
