It makes for a very expensive daily driver because of what he has to spend keeping it going. Buy the car cheap and use the suspension under an old truck. That makes far more sense!

I don't remember any details but it might be worth doing some searching there to see what you find.
In many ways its like any other serious hot rod modification in that its likely to be more work and more money than expected at the beginning. The trick is to know enough before you start that you can get what you want when you are finished.

I am planning on doing a c notch to the frame in order to get it lower. And when I do the c notch I am thinking of making the frame fit the angle of the jag cage mounting supports as it does in the car. So the jag rear will be a bolt in set up as in the car. It keeps the fabrication side easy,and unless your building a show truck it ain't gonna be seen! BTW I'm guessing your a certain 'Gasser' guy on the HAMB! I was banned for a bit there. I might still do the gasser theme with a willys overland panel truck. I have a bbc 427 with dual carb tunnel ram and a turbo 400 I was planning to use, and I have 2 bodies and frames sitting in the back yard. Maybe then I could sell one of them if it were completed?
I am just excited to have gotten some work done last night and I wanted to share. And this truck its going in will just be a driver. Nothing to show off with this one. | | |
