You don't have the factory wiper motor so you may just have to put it on the bench with power and play with it. That may be the only way you will find it's off position so you can correctly mount it. The factory wiper switch grounds the wiper motor, that way it has power till it reaches the off position internally. I'd try and find a switch for what ever wiper motor you do have. There have been posts on the factory setup you might try a search to find them, and see if they help. Good luck.
